EPIC partners support ramp-up after corona shutdown
The combined expertise of the two Fraunhofer institutions puts companies back on the road to success after the crisis. Experts support the restart of production and successful operation in the "new normal".
On June 1, the joint project by Fraunhofer IPA and Fraunhofer Austria started, which, within the framework of a platform, offers companies the opportunity to develop security measures to protect employees as well as measures to safeguard the supply chain. Participants benefit from the Fraunhofer competence network and best practices from industry, for example from the Kromberg & Schubert project: After production had to be paused due to the corona crisis, the collaboration with Fraunhofer made it possible to restart production within three weeks of the start of the project. The measures developed have already been rolled out in all 26 plants worldwide.
